Hi! My name is Giorgi Tsartsidze. I’m a passionate Game Programmer with a strong background in programming, dedicated to creating engaging gaming experiences.

I have 3 years experience as a game developer in international projects and hackathons.

  • 3 months internship at Munich based German Game company called Blankhans, where we were developing (and released) a Game called Coreborn: A multiplayer survival game set in the open world of Ultracore. Where you build, grow, and defend your town. The Steam Game page: here

    Merge Frenzy

    Tbilisi, Georgia: October 22, 2022

    Outsource company called Digital Road Studio which delivers high-quality mobile games. One of these big projects where Merge Frenzy, which I worked on from the beginning to the end.

    EOS Game Engine

    Kutaisi, Georgia: February 10, 2022

    EOS Game engine, which is based on Java, was implemented by 4 team members link to the projects can be shown: here Whole idea of the game engine was to simulate and being able to control perspective part of the game. For example simplest way to demonstrate is that you can change the whole concept of if object is close let it be big, and if it is far then let it be small. Being able to control that was our initial goal. My contributions can be seen in the following areas:

    • Implemented Game engine logic, including Core game loop, windows, shaders
    • Added unit/functional tests
    • Fixed development issues regarding OpenG
    • Implemented github CI/CD pipelines.

    Photomode Module for Unity Asset Store

    Tbilisi, Georgia: August 5, 2021

    Created but never published, Photomode was created purely in Unity to help developers quickly insert the module and have access to high-level Photomode in their games. The photomode consists of following components:

    • Create high-quality in-game screenshots
    • Change camera settings, like FOV, position, rotation
    • Change post-processing settings
    • Change lighting settings

    Touch Controls for Unity Asset Store

    Tbilisi, Georgia: January 27, 2021

    Touch controls for unity asset store, link can be found: here was created to help developers with multitouch support including:

    • Works with built-in Unity Touch System
    • Camera Zoom Controls (pinch in, pinch out)
    • Camera Move Controls (touch to move, sliding)
    • Overall System for multitouch controls

Game Jam/Hackathon Projects

  • Won local nasa space apps hackathon, with project which is helping kids understand how water works.

    • Worked alongside 2 other developer sand 2 artists

    • Fixed bugs and reimplemented some core features in unity

    Global Game Jam - Roots of Love

    Tbilisi, Georgia: January 15, 2023

    Theme of a game jam was "Roots", so me, an artist and a sound designer, decided to make a game about how one tree loves the other tree so much that, he wanted to connect their roots together even though they were opposite to each other. Project can be found: here

    • Only one to work in the Game Engine (Unity)

    Local Game Jam - Space Rush

    Tbilisi, Georgia: April 21, 2023

    Local game jam with around 10-12 Teams, with theme being: "2034", came out victorious on second place. The game is revolving around a concept elon musk who predicted that a world would end in 2034. The game is local 2-player game, where you either play as earth or an asteroid which wants to crash into the earth. Game has two outcomes, depending on which wins.

    SICK Hackathon

    Freiburg, Germany: October 26, 2023

    One of the biggest hackathons in Germany, with over 20 Teams and 150 Students, mostly Masters and PhD Students. We came out victorious as having the best business idea. Our idea was to have airbnb but for electric chargers. link can be found: here
